Motion

A default iPad function
Your iPad device uses motion effects to create the perception of depth on your screen and within apps. A user sensitive to motion effects or screen movement on an iPad, may benefit from reducing the motion of the user interface. Whilst in the iPad’s Settings and by then navigating to the Accessibility folder, you will find these accessibility features under the title motion.
Screen transitions and effects now use the dissolve effect instead of zoom or slide effects. Parallax effect, where your wallpaper, apps and alerts that move or shift slightly as you tilt the device, are disabled and animation and effects in certain apps are disabled. For example, weather animations in the Weather app.
Top Tip
There are various features available but by simply toggling the reduce motion to off, certain screen effects change or are disabled on your device.
