Display/Text Size

A default iPad function
There are several features available that can support an ipad user with visual aids that alter display & text size. Whilst in the iPad’s Settings and by then navigating to the Accessibility folder, you will find these accessibility features. All of these features can be switched on and off using the toggle to the right hand side of the option.
For example, you can see that when the bold text feature is switched on, all visible text becomes bold.
A really impacting feature available in this list is the very simple but powerful visual aid is the colour filter settings. By turning these on, a user can choose what gradient of colour the iPad works with.
Top Tip
As you scroll down the page you can see all the various option such as reducing transparency, increasing contrast or even the smart and classic invert which both can reverse various colours of the iPad display.

1 thought on “Display/Text Size”
Good Morning,
Would you be able to let me know if there is an easy way to increase the size of the toolbar in different applications for students with low vision? Many of my students find the computer difficult to navigate because the toolbar text is too small.
Many thanks
